CEO

Faizan Syed Ahmed

Mr. Faizan is a dually licensed Attorney and Certified Public Accountant focused on business and commercial transactions, tax compliance and return filings, and IRS representation. He advises clients in a number of industries including oil and gas operators and service companies, pipeline companies, professional services companies, real estate holding companies, nonprofits, retailers/restaurants and other active trade or businesses. His primary emphasis is on tax planning and compliance for closely held businesses.

Prior to starting this firm, Mr. Faizan practiced law with a nonprofit boutique law firm located in Tarrant County and in a mixed litigation and transactional role with a mid-sized downtown Fort Worth law firm. During law school, Mr. Faizan worked for Plante & Moran, LLP as a tax consultant and served as a judicial extern for Hon. David McKeague, US Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit and Hon. Walter Shapero, US Bankruptcy Court – Eastern District of Michigan.

Prior to law school, Mr. Faizan worked in the Houston office of Pricewaterhouse Coopers, LLC auditing a variety of publicly traded and privately held companies.

Beth Peter

Beth Peter, JD, LLM – Tax, is an associate transactional attorney focused on a variety of business matters, including advising small businesses related to choice of entity, acquisitions, and corporate governance. She focuses her attention on federal income tax planning and compliance matters for small business clients.  In addition, she assists clients with their estate planning needs, including estate and gift tax planning.

Before joining Faizan Law Firm, P.C., Bethany graduated from Southern Methodist University with her Master of Tax Law (LLM).  She received her law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in May 2014. At Texas Tech, she was the founding Business Manager of the Business & Bankruptcy Law Journal where she gained valuable experience in the formation of a tax-exempt organization. She also has a degree in accounting and is in the process of taking the exam to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Bonwin David
